Heidi Fredeen has indicated that she and Mark have paddle boards and life jackets that would be available to anyone of the reunion participants that would care to partake of that fun. Personally, I think I would look for a nearby lake to use the paddle boards as I don’t know how swift the Mississippi current is at our reunion site and I wouldn’t want to get a phone call from someone asking how they are going to get back from New Orleans!

Hi Everyone!!😄 This is the first in what will be an effort to answer any and all questions about the reunion, and to give everyone a location to make their own comments, ask questions, post pictures, etc.
First, we have the AirBnB reserved. The address is above. It is located along the Mississippi River, sort of between Minneapolis and St. Paul. I believe, if you are a fisherman or woman, you could fish from the bank at the AirBnB. There are two kayaks available (I want to double check this as there is no mention of life vests, must haves for using a kayak out on the river!). The facility sleeps 18 persons so there should be no problem having sufficient accommodations for everyone that needs a room. Sue & I will be taking the master suite though so don’t even bother asking about that.::smiley.
Next, although there is only one scheduled event, everyone is welcome to come visit, take pictures, try the kayaks any time during the 5 day period. The one scheduled event is Sunday, August 2nd. In its current planning it is an all day open house. Details on food and drink to be worked out. Apparently the site is large enough to accommodate a reasonably large group of people in the event of inclement weather.
The sleeping accommodations can be reserved on a first come first served basis. Post your plans and needs here and we’ll start working it all out.
Should be fun folks. Based on comments already received it is going to be well attended and probably the one and only time, or the last time, that several of the group will be able to attend such a gathering. We’ve got a lot of time to plan, so present your thoughts and we’ll make this an affair to remember!😆.
